Fortuna sittard fired me for refusing to participate in "illegal activities"
Former Super Eagles Coach Sunday Oliseh says he was fired for refusing to participate in illegal activities at Fortuna sittard.
Mr. Oliseh was fired despite being on the verge of getting the team promoted.
The club on Wednesday said it fired Mr. Oliseh “as a result of the repeatedly culpable actions for a longer period.”
But reacting to this, Mr. Oliseh said he was fired ‘due to his refusal to participate in Illegal activities’.
“I confirm: Due to my refusal to participate in Illegal activities at Fortuna sittard & violate the Law,i have been Suspended from my duties as Coach by the Foreign Owners of Fortuna.Unfortunate for the lovely fans, my players & our hard fought phenomenal positioning for Promotion,” Oliseh tweeted.
