Away from his Oscar snub, Hollywood star, Will Smith can now smile now as the MTV Movie Awards has handed him two nominations as contenders for the 2016 edition are unveiled.
For his role as a Nigeria-born doctor in Concussion, Will Smith will be facing Oscars Best Actor, Leonardo DiCaprio (The Revenant), Matt Damon (The Martian) and Chris Pratt (Jurassic World) for the Best Male Performance at the upcoming awards. Other nominees for the category are Michael B. Jordan (Creed) and Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool).
Will Smith was also nominated for Best Kiss alongside Margot Robbie for their very romantic act in thrilling comedy, ‘Focus’. The category also has the famous making out between Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan in the erotic movie, Fifty Shades of Grey.
The 2016 edition of the MTV Movie Awards comes up on Sunday, April 10.
